Google is not just any simpleton. From simple beginnings, they have expanded and become a technological tycoon. Together with some of the world's leading technological innovators, Google has created an empire on its own. The search engine company became a multimillion-dollar company that took GE's place as the 5th most valuable company in 2012 by Yahoo! Finance. Search engine, mailing, e-books, and browsers are some of Google's well-known products. In addition, Google is Android's developer, the leading operating system for smartphones. Google's success is undeniable. It is also unstoppable and Google will not stop just yet. They plan to release the newest lineup to their Nexus series gadgets. However, they will not do it alone.
The Nexus series are a series of smartphones and tablets available in the market today. The Nexus One debuts the lineup for smartphones. Released in 2010, the phone is the first to have Android's Froyo but the phone could not be updated with Ice Cream Sandwich because of hardware incompatibilities. After the genesis, the Nexus S was born. Released in December 2010, the phone debuted with Android's Gingerbread and is now up to Jelly Bean. Like all Nexus phones, it has Super AMOLED touchscreen displays and impressive hardware specifications. To complete the roster of Nexus phones so far, the Galaxy Nexus phone was released in 2011 to coincide with Android's Ice Cream Sandwich's release. Like any typical Google Nexus phone, hardware specs and software are improved. Since the Galaxy Nexus is the latest phone, it's awaiting an upgrade to Jelly Bean sometime soon.
Google did not just expand to smartphones. They also released tablets and multimedia gadgets that can do as amazing as their smartphones. The Nexus Q is a multimedia streaming device that debuted together with Google Play. The gadget is an avant-garde in its right. It is shaped like a circle and most users did not really get how the thing worked. It was shelved indefinitely. The Nexus 7 is their flagship tablet. Released in June 2012, the tablet debuts with great specs and impressive software. It will compete with Kindle Fire. However, with Google's determination, they just don't stop there.
Recently, there has been news that Google will release a better 10.1-inch Nexus tablet soon. It is said that it will have an improved touchscreen display with a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1600. That's higher than Apple's third-generation iPads. A tablet like this is a high-end tablet in itself. The more interesting news is Google plans to co-brand this impressive tablet with Samsung, which differs from Nexus 7 because they collaborated with Asus. This is Google's way of solidifying their relationship with Samsung. Their relationship is seen to be a strong one. With Google providing the operating system for all of Samsung's smartphones, their relationship is stronger than a corporate alliance. When Apple sued Samsung for a number of patent infringements, Google was back stage helping Samsung with all possible legal remedies to win the case. Samsung prefers Android as their operating systems. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is Android's creme de la creme. This tablet will surely make you want to sell BlackBerry phones to improve your gadgets.
