Therefore, WiMAX should be dismissed outright. Whether as a competing technology or as a complimentary one, it plays an important role in today's technology. As with relatively new technologies, those who adopt it earlier are the ones who are likely to benefit from it the most. Those who adopt a wait and see attitude will be forced to play catch up later.
