Is the Samsung Galaxy S2 The Most Loved Smartphone?

AppId is over the quota

Last year was a triumph for Samsung as the firm brought out a number of similar Galaxy models in the range, but the S2 was head and shoulders above the rest and many would argue the competition too. It's a similar-looking device to the rest of the Galaxy range, which is no bad thing, but it's deeply intriguing who the electronics giant has managed to cram so many tech into this smartphone that it's worth buying just to try and work that out!

Let's look at the specifications then, and see what makes the Samsung Galaxy S2 so incredible: -

The Processor - The dual core 1.2GHz unit in the S2 is unbelievably quick and has only just recently been pipped by the 1.5GHz chip in the HTC Sensation XE. It's more than fast enough for everyday duties and if you're a resource-heavy user too. There is an expected quad-core 1.5GHz chip expected in the S3, though, which will take Samsung back to the top.

Screen - The super AMOLED capacitive LED screen is so impressive that other manufacturers are left scratching their heads. Even the iPhone 5 is being rumoured to borrow the technology when it reaches the market later in the year. It's that good! At 480 x 800 the screen resolution isn't the highest but the processor speed and that special screen combine to give impressive graphics at a fast rate, and it's more than capable of making you say, "Wow" when you first use it. Encased in Gorilla Glass, the super-protective, scratch-resistant covering you can expect the Galaxy S2 to last for a very long time without showing scratches.

Thanks to that impressive screen, watching videos and browsing images is akin to a full HD TV. There is so much functionality and impressive clarity that makes this screen the one to beat right now.

Android Operating System - Android phones are the most popular in the world right now. Beating off Apple's flagship phones easily, although mainly due to many manufacturers using it, this operating system is deeply impressive. It comes complete with Gingerbread 2.3 OS preloaded. This works perfectly with the processor and RAM configurations that everything you seem to do is seamless and effortless. It's slicker than BP's finest and it's so easy and intuitive to use.

Thanks to the customisable TouchWiz v4.0 user-interface you can make your Android phone work perfectly for your needs and with millions of apps to download you can have a wide range of widgets, movies, books, games and apps at your fingertips.

So, as you can see there are plenty of reasons why the Samsung Galaxy S2 is killing off the competition and why more than 20 million handsets have been sold already. There are still rumours around the release date of the Galaxy S3 but it's due to be soon, especially as the iPhone 5 (or new iPhone as it's being called) is due out in the autumn. It's certainly something to look forward to but for now, the S2 is more than capable of being the smartphone you've always dreamed of.

Sprint Has Announced The New Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Sprint is a popular cellphone retailer and a leading player on many marketplaces around the globe. They are the first to make brand-new upgrades to mobile phones and they have a lot of great cell phone deals for consumers.

Earlier on there were gossips that Sprint will introduce a regular Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the market that will have only 16 GB of internal memory space. Now the company chose to sell only the 32GB version and this will make this cellphone one of the best among the cell phone deals available. Sprint has additionally made a deal with Samsung and got additional upgrades for this model.

The Samsung Nexus offered by Sprint will have a whole new processor. The regular Samsung Nexus has only 1.2 GHz of power. The one marketed by Sprint will get 1.5 GHz and it will likely be considerably faster than all the other versions available. This is not the only enhancement made to this model. Also, the Samsung Nexus is capable of the modern LTE technologies. It is a real masterpiece of engineering and all the future users of this device will have only good words to say about this phone.

Unfortunately there is not a specific release time frame for this design. The people that look forward to buy this mobile phone will have to wait just a little longer. You will find news that say that the new Nexus will be released somewhere in the second part of the year. Until now, this is the first new phone handset announced for 2012. But, by looking at the new versions presented at CES I would not hurry to buy this model when it appears. I would merely wait a little bit longer since a lot of new possibilities will be available in a little while.

There is ruthless competition in the marketplace and Samsung will have to develop all their designs. It is true that this upgrade of the Nexus model will buy them a bit of time. To be able to remain in the top of the corporations that sell cellphones the people at Samsung have to work hard and develop new brilliant products like the Samsung Note or Samsung Tab. This corporation is full of assets and it is only simply a matter of time until they will release a new hit on the market. The Samsung Nexus advertised by Sprint will surely has a lot of buyers later on.
