The Secrets of Effective Time Management

We all have those days we'd like to have more hours in the day. Everyone will have days where we feel like hamsters on a wheel. Your time management is usually the culprit here. Luckily, this doesn't have to be your permanent state. We can each reassess our habits and time management skills. You only need a willing attitude to work hard to fix this behavior. You should be aware of the different methods of managing your time. What works for one person might not work for you, so you'll have to try a few things before you find the habits that work best. Here are some hints to get you started.

You will first want to figure out what you are doing now. Wait a few days before changing anything. Simply write down what you are doing (even the procrastination moments) and for how long you do it. If you spend two hours reading the news, write it down. Map out your whole week. This will show you where you are starting and how you are most likely to waste time. From this point you can begin to figure out what needs to change and how to begin those changes.

Start your day by making a list of your goals for the day. After you've got them all on paper begin ordering the list by priority. The higher the priority the higher up on the list, and vica versa. You can now use this organized list as a "to do" list. The feeling of satisfaction you get by completing a to do list at the end of the day cannot be compared to any other feeling. Instead of wasting valuable time trying to figure out what you are supposed to be doing you can simply look at your list now to see what's next.

Many people define productivity in terms of how many tasks they complete, but it's also important not to lose track of how well you are doing them. As much as you may want to finish a task, never let this take priority over quality.

There is no point in being on time if the quality of your work suffers for it. If you create your schedule with an honest appraisal of how long each task will take, you won't run into as much trouble. When possible, allow yourself more time than you think you'll need for each activity. You are better off having too much time than too little for important tasks.

Anyone can get more skillful at managing time. You can start getting better at this simply by applying the above time management tips.

When you figure out how to create a schedule that's ambitious yet realistic and also flexible, you'll be on your way to mastering time management. Like many things, this is a skill that you have to keep practicing to improve.

Secrets For Whitening Your Teeth at Home

A bright smile makes a better first impression. However we all know there are lots of things that can cause our teeth to be less than sparkling. When dealing with the public, a gleaming smile can bring shining results. While visiting your dentist is one option for a brighter smile, you can also achieve this with products available from the drug store or your pantry. A visit to your kitchen pantry can give you a brighter smile, while saving time and money, as opposed to pharmacy products or a trip to your dentist.

Basically, you can get two types of teeth brighteners and they are abrasives and chemical cleaners. Baking soda or salt are a few of the abrasives that are needed.

One will not only help to make your teeth brighter, but the other one will help to give you a fresh breath. The discoloration on your teeth can be removed by using chemical brighteners such as hydrogen peroxide, carbamide peroxide and other things that have acid in them. However, please remember that all of these various techniques will make the enamel coating on your teeth week. So this means they must be utilized very carefully and that the abrasives cannot be used too often or involve heavy brushing.

One potentially damaging ingredient that's often recommended for teeth whitening is lemon juice. We have also seen suggestions for rubbing the teeth with the inner part of lemon peel to achieve the same result. Lemons have a high concentration of citric acid, which, though it helps to whiten your teeth, also dissolves the enamel (or outer layer) or your teeth over time. You can never get back your teeth's enamel once it's been worn away. So if you use lemons, or any acidic food, on your teeth, you should use caution and not use it very often.

Baking soda is a basic ingredient in a great number of teeth whitening formulas. One formula you may try is to combine baking soda with glycerin and add a small pinch of salt. The glycerin helps to form the mixture into a toothpaste texture so you can easily brush your teeth with it. Brushing very hard with this mixture, however, could be damaging, so be gentle and use caution. Many substances that whiten your teeth, including baking soda and salt, also have the potential to harm your teeth's enamel. It's therefore best to not use a solution of this kind too often, and to not brush too hard when you do. You should, to begin with, watch what you eat and drink every day if you want to have cleaner and whiter teeth. If you're in the habit of eating unhealthy foods, or perhaps smoking, changing to healthier items can go a long way towards improving the appearance of your teeth.
